Please review my book

I know it’s a pain to be asked to review every single thing we buy. I unsubscribe from those requests as soon as I can.

That said, I’d super appreciate it if you would do me a favor and review Paint Figures Better.

Books live and die by the reviews they receive and at least doubly so for self-published work like this. It’s a hell of a big investment of time to buy and read a book so people like to get a feel for what they’re getting themselves into.

I painted pretty landscapes and mediocre figures for ten years in the fantasy illustration world for some wonderful clients. It was a lot of fun and very tiring.

I do my own thing now. I shoot and model with my wife on Reference.Pictures. I teach art on Art Camp. I make art and writing for my perpetually-unfinished project, The Sin of Man. I write a bit of fiction and non-fiction, but this is my first book that I’ve published. I wrote a number of articles over the years, though, including such internet-hits as Don’t Go to Art School and How I Became an Artist.
